Horror stories, what to watch for, and just be aware

We call this web page our “Buyer Beware” warning, and there’s a good reason for it. We’re going to cover a few key, critical issues here, so keep with us.

First, there’s a lot of talk about what chemicals or enzymes are best to put into your RV’s holding tanks. As we covered on our Chemical-Free RVing page, there’s no need to add any chemicals to your holding tanks, just be sure to empty them frequently (when full or when you need to, adding water to bring the tanks to 3/4th to full) and get themprofessionally cleaned at least once per year.

Next, be careful when purchasing or renting a pre-owned RV. What I see in holding tank sanitation pertaining to pre-owned RV’s being sold to customers is horrid!  Our cameras prove every day that chemicals are not doing the job. It is up to you, the consumer, to force RV dealers to professionally clean the holding tanks they are selling before these vehicles are resold or rented to other families.

Remember, it is the right thing to do. If they won’t clean holding tanks properly; then don’t buy them or rent them. Remember, you can always get an industry’s attention through the wallet. We hope the RV Industry is reading this and listening because it is time to come out of the medieval ages and get into the 21st century. Public awareness to the dangers and diseases in unclean holding tanks has begun and it is really going to come down to this; “Professionally clean your holding tanks and be the RV Dealer who cares or don’t do it and be the RV Dealer who does not care about public health issues.

Finally, beware of companies that make exaggerated or illogical claims. There are some former All Pro Water Flow dealers out there making trouble on RV online bulletin boards and other conversations. Only those All Pro Water Flow dealers we list on our Dealer Locator are authorized to use the All Pro Water Flow name and are backed by our company as reputable dealers and providers.

Remember that All Pro Water Flow, with over 15 years of experience and having serviced over 1,000,000 RVs is the RV industry’s only professional holding tank cleaning service provider that uses our proprietary hydro-jetting system to get your RV’s holding tanks “factory clean.”
